We need your help to support seniors and our community.
You can support our seniors communities by offering donations of specialized or often-used items, such as:
- Exercise equipment
- Games
- Movie DVDs
- Knitting supplies
- Craft supplies
We will also gladly accept emergency fund donations to support our residents and services. Your generous donations can make a significant impact and provide immediate assistance to individuals and families in our community.
Financial donations can be provided through Canada Helps.
Donors are also welcome to contact us to discuss possible stock transfers, gifts-in-kind, or to explore other ways to support seniors in our communities.
Purchase
Are you interested in supporting us through donations to our Recreation Department? We invite you to make a purchase from our list, simply add the item to your cart, select your payment and Amazon will do the rest.
Those who choose to purchase items should email us at admin@westwindscommunities.ca to advise of their purchase, and we will issue a receipt for tax purposes.
Volunteer
People like you volunteer to provide enhanced activities, programs and services to enrich the lives of our residents on a daily basis.
Our volunteers help us create home-like communities, and they expand our level of support, care and daily activities. Our volunteers give more than their time and talents. They share their kindness and joy with our residents, contributing to our communities. Our volunteers are a critical part of our family.
Many of our volunteers expand on their work experience as they take on new responsibilities, while earning references for employment, and meeting new friends.
