Affordable Housing

Westwinds Communities offers two distinct housing programs for families and special purpose housing.

Affordable Housing is a subsidized rental program. It provides housing to families who have a low or modest income. In this program, tenants pay rent based on 30% of qualifying income from all household members.

The Near Market Housing program helps employed households who need a lower rent, by offering rental suites that are below market rent. In this program, tenants pay rent that is at least 10% below the market rents for the area.

All of Westwinds family housing units are non-smoking and do not permit pets. Service dogs are not considered to be pets. Tenants are requested to submit proof of service dog certification for their dog with the application.
